- Structure and ensure follow-up of communications with COs for the formulation of the project proposals according to the donor ́s requirements and templates:
- Characterization of humanitarian needs assessment and its geographical delimitation.
- Analysis of humanitarian response and strategy.
- Identification of beneficiaries and vulnerable groups.
- Definition of the logic of the intervention (i.e., objectives, sectorial indicators, targets, activities, required budget and workplan).
- Assumption statements with corresponding risk analysis and management.
- Monitoring and evaluation as well as accountability mechanisms.
- In close coordination with LACRO and COs, programme and resource mobilization teams, ensure opportune consolidation, and elaboration of project proposals (multi-country) in appropriate alignment with UNICEF's and the donor's guidelines.
- Any other related tasks as required for the development of the projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Education, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or other relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience in project management and coordination in the humanitarian and or human rights sector.
- International and developing country work experience at regional, national or sub national level.
- Familiarity with emergency response strategies, as part of the main UNICEF programme areas.
- Experience in Humanitarian Action and with ECHO projects.
- Networking experience with international organizations, NGOs and other key partners at regional and country level.
- Extensive knowledge of UNICEF programme works in the LAC Region in the areas of Humanitarian Action.
- Availability during Social Sciences, International Relations, Education, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or other relevant disciplines.
