As a Senior Analyst you will oversee financial aspects of buying groups and MDF programs in the US and Canada including but not limited to rebate accruals and reserves, updating rebate conditions/agreements in SAP and financial reporting in an efficient, concise and timely manner.
You will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and support applicable parties as they navigate channel programs.

- Establish, maintain, and terminate buying group/PEP member rebate conditions and agreements in SAP. Calculate, analyze, and record general ledger monthly required reserves for applicable rebates. Provide forecast support to FP&A.
- Proactively look for ways to improve, automate, and streamline processes within the channel rebate programs and work with crossfunctional groups to accomplish identified improvements.
- Manage and maintain appropriate general ledger reserves for buying group programs, including obtaining appropriate approval of claims, processing claims, payment and/or customer credits requests upon approval, and proposing reserve adjustments as needed. Ensure adherence to financial policies, SOX, US GAAP, and other internal control requirements.
- Compile and submit monthly sales information to buying group entities as required and complete monthly rebate reconciliation with buying groups. Provide program level reporting to executive leadership and respond to adhoc requests as required.
- Participate in finance/accounting or crossfunctional projects and complete other duties as assigned.
- Analytical and Strategic thinker who is inquisitive. A strong desire to understand a concept, analyze data, question processes and offer suggestions for improvements.
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- High level of experience working with Excel and large amounts of data: VLOOKUP, IF/AND, SUMIFS, INDEX, POWERPIVOT. An understanding of financial systems, prior experience with SAP, AFO (Analysis for Office) and SAP BI a plus.
- Customer Service experience and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- A high attention to detail, pattern recognition, commercial awareness and a positive presence.
