Type of Contract:

Regular Month, this contract is established in the form of a regular monthly contract, that is, a continuous presentation of services is required during the period of the contract, making the payments associated with the contract at the end of each calendar month.


What will your tasks be?
Within the UNOPS Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, there is the Regional Unit for Management and Evaluation, whose main objectives are: 1) Provide support in monitoring the performance and monitoring of the regional portfolio. 2) Provide expert advice for the implementation and quality assurance of project management and the performance of its financial and non-financial indicators of the offices. 3) Develop and implement innovative solutions for effective monitoring and supervision of the regional portfolio, through dashboards, which support the decision-making processes of leadership at the regional, multi-country and country levels.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst will perform the following functions:

  • Contributes to the Regional Management and Monitoring Advisor (RMOA) in the delivery of regional strategic advisory services.
  • Provides support to the RMOA on performance and improvement
  • Contributes substantially to the maximization of resources with the RMOA
  • Knowledge management and innovation

What are we looking for?

  • A university degree in a relevant area is required.
Master's degree is desirable and may substitute a few years of experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project evaluation and impact, operations and program management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, and program coordination is required.
  • Experience in design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the Spanish language is required.
  • Fluency in the English language is required
