Our client is looking for a
Data Engineer Leader - Supply Chain*:

for a contract position
Start date:

March/April

Duration: 6 months with possibility of REN
Location
: Panama or close to this country (Mexico, Equator, Colombia, Argentina)
Work model: Hybrid 1 or 2 days onsite per week or REMOTE (if willing to travel)
Language: Bilingualism (
English and Spanish) is essential, both oral and written.

Responsibilities and Qualifications (high light):

Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure services like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks to ingest, transform, and load (ETL) supply chain data from diverse sources.
Build and manage scalable data lakes and data warehouses on Azure (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics) to facilitate efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of supply chain data.
Develop and automate insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with at least 1 year focused on retail business.
Indepth expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL (including experience with libraries relevant to data engineering and Azure development).
Solid understanding of retail business principles and terminology.
