    PURPOSE


    •This position is responsible to lead the Wholesale Marketplace Transformation strategy.


    •The role will help elevate the adidas footprint: net sales, sell-out, profitability, market share, store execution and experience in the wholesale chann

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • LEAD THE MARKETPLACE TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY
  • Provide best in class strategic framework to define and manage channel ecosystems;
  • Guide ideal & consistent service level strategy based on the role of the channels and accounts;
  • Develop ready to implement tools together with brand, DPC and operations to improve sales, store execution and experience;
  • Elevate go-to-market process in partnership with brand;
  • Support the definition of the strategic plan (STAP) with the accounts.
  • DRIVE CULTURE
  • Ownership of the regional operating rhythm to steer execution across LAM. Develop channel subcommunities and simplify way of working;
  • Support the teams in the countries in achieving profitable market share and company goals through best practice sharing, sales system enhancement and process harmonization/ improvement;
  • Ensure a constant communication flow about status of business tools and support plans to main stakeholders, SLT, Sales Directors and project-related functions.
  • SUPPORT THE BUSINESS
  • Ownership of the regional go-to-market , elevating key milestones like Prelines and top to top meetings and the final deliverable of assortment planning, regional activation and product mix. Ensure excellent go to market process tailored to account type;
  • Influence regional functions & global to support wholesale channel initiatives;
  • Standardize KPIs and simplify process to get and to analyze data.
  • OVERALL REGIONAL SCOPE
  • Set the vision and direction to create traction and drive the team to focus and impact;
  • Elevate relationship with accounts, steering the co-definition of ambitious growth plans
  • Remove roadblocks and any significant friction point in our regional collaboration;
  • Cascade regional priorities across all countries;
  • Secure elevated service level from adidas to the accounts on product mix, campaigns, go to market collaboration, operations, etc.
  • Create a cadence to reflect on our performance on main KPIs.
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Enhanced functional skills within Sales and Marketing. High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge (operational Sales experience)
  • Proven track record of delivering versus measurable sales targets and KPIs;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • High leadership and managerial skills;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing team and projects in a matrix organization. Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. influencing, communication, negotiation);
  • High level of analytical agility with clear problem-solving ability;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish is a must.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in business, ideally with sales and marketing focus or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Sales leadership roles
  • Team management experience
