We are searching the best talent for Venecenca Head of Finance to be in Panamá


Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing finance and business leadership to Janssen Venecenca.

Primary Finance business partner for Janssen Venecenca Managing Director and his commercial team on a broad range and of complex finance and by business related decision, support on key business related analysis.


You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Janssen Venecenca Managing Director and Commercial team in all periodic and ad-hoc financial performance reviews and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated results, analysis, and financial plans.
  • Responsible for financial leadership of Venecenca. Partner with Managing Director and Commercial leaders and CVTLs to support them in financial decision making always looking to maximize value creation and access of our medicines to patients.
  • Lead the Long Range Financial Plan process for Venecenca.
  • Lead the Business Plan and subsequent cycles updates for Venecenca.
Lead presentations for the business plan and all forecast updates for management. Identifies critical factors affecting profitability and evaluates the potential to achieve profit results consistent with Company goals.

- Provide financial leadership in Pricing decisions and recommendations ensuring adequate management of gross margins while balancing access and the competitiveness of the company in the market.

- Oversight of consolidation of financial reports and the reporting.

Identifies trends by comparing actual results to budget. Ensures that appropriate systems and processes are in place to report financials timely and accurately.

- Partner with Supply Chain and Delivery to ensure operational excellence through the cluster, with the goal of optimizing working capital and maximizing cashflow.

- Provide financial leadership to the New Business Development process for the creation, and analysis of business cases for the cluster.


  • Maintain high standards of internal controls. Develops, evaluates and implements internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitors performance of staff against departmental objectives. Recommends salary increases, promotions and terminations.
  • Lead and sustain high standards of External financial Compliance, ensuring adherence to local regulation and proactively assessing risk and opps in local operations across Central America and Venezuela in collaboration with Taxes, Legal and Local Legal Entity Financial teams.
  • Proactively manage accounts receivables across cluster geographies in partnership with commercial and collection teams with the goal of optimizing working capital and maximizing cashflow.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree with a major in Finance
  • A minimum of 8 years of finance experience
  • Must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills
  • Must work well in a dynamic, matrix style, complex environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prior people management experiences
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to execute and followthrough to completion and ensure key documentation requirements are met Preferred Requirements
  • MBA or other business master's degree
  • Technical financial compliance background experience Safe Fleet requirements: Since this position is eligible for Company Car as working tool, it is also required:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least 3 years of driving a car experience, preferably in highway zones (between 80 and 110 km/h) and with standard vehicles.
