For major suppliers, consolidate local supplier performance and prepare the quarterly business reviews. Trigger and monitor local continuous improvement as needed.
Take initiatives to monitor and improve supplier compliance and CSR performance, including Scope-3 Carbon footprint reduction. Train suppliers as required.

-Ensure the handover and local implementation of supplier contracts that were negotiated by Group Procurement, including the implementation of local contracts for and within the Group.

Coordinate the creation of related supplier and item master data in Millicom group entities, in collaboration with the Shared Services team.

Ensure Terms and Conditions are implemented and followed by Millicom group entities as well as Suppliers (related to contracts negotiated by Group Procurement).Monitor the timely and correct issue of purchase orders by Millicom group entities.

Monitor on-time payments.

Act as expert user for the iValua eProcurement system, including supplier onboarding, sourcing, contract repository, contract handover and supplier relationship management.


  • Support future ERP implementations and improvements with respect to procurement Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement of our toolkit.
Train others, coordinate best-practice sharing.
Develop and implement improvements to procurement policies and controls.
Ensure policy documentation and provide related training.
Manage the overall repository of procurement policies.
Act on findings of internal audits in procurement. -Provide ad hoc analyses and report on procurement KPIs. -Build KPI dashboards. Key Interfaces-Procurement teams at Group and at the Millicom group entities-Purchase Requestors and Contract Managers at the Millicom group entities-Compliance and CSR teams, at Group and at the Millicom group entities-Finance Shared Service Center-SuppliersQualifications-College degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or Law-Strong analytic capabilities with high attention to detail-Good knowledge of the Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay and Supplier Management Processes-Solid verbal and written communication skills, in English and Spanish-Experience with analytic tools like Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, and Excel-Ideally, knowledge of programming languages like Python or JavaScript-Eager to invest in own development, curious to learnExperience -Minimum 5 years of business experience in a Finance, Procurement or IT position in a multi-national environment-At least 2 years of experience in a procurement role, with exposure to global suppliers and international stakeholders-Experience with eProcurement systems (e.g.

iValua, Ariba, GEP, Coupa) and SAP or Oracle ERP systems, ideally as an expert userCore Competencies -: Be able to influence cross-functional and international stakeholders, stimulate collaboration, poses highly effective verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. - Posses strong analytical skills, be structured in your approach and disciplined to meet challenging deadlines.
