Position:

Intermediate Production Drafter Purpose:
CAD/BIM drafting production with oversight of a Senior Designer/Production Drafter and/or

Design Director Impact:
Proactive work of which the output is comprehensive, accurate and demonstrates detail oriented work and/or strong project management—done largely autonomously to support the P&I standard in aesthetic and client service

Reports To:
Studio Director with dotted line to Seniors by project

Direct Reports:
Dotted line oversight of Juniors/interns by project DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Service:

Professional demeanor with employees
Attend internal meetings
Prepare meeting minutes after each client meeting
Support team in preparation of detailed CAD/BIM documentation
Present own work to Seniors/Director by project Creative Leadership
Follows and speaks to current industry trends on Cad/BIM documentation, etc.
Attend CAD/BIM seminars and training and report back to team
Remains up to date with latest software versions and techniques Financial Leadership
100% timely and accurate timesheets
100% timely and accurate reimbursable expenses (personal & project) Project Deliverables
Assist in the production of project administration (production time schedules, etc.)
Produce project drawings (floor plans, elevations, electrical plans, RCPs, detail drawings, millwork drawings, etc.) accurately and efficiently at the appropriate level
Produce project documentation (material schedules, finish schedules, fixture schedules, etc.) accurately and efficiently at the appropriate level
Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders (Senior Production/Senior Designers/Design Director, etc.) appropriately People Leadership
Mentor junior staff (if applicable)

Requisitos:

Possesses a high level of detail drawing skill, extremely efficient technical drawings capability.
Able to make decisions and communicate in a fastpaced environment.
Highly organized, intelligent, confident and discreet with a confident and positive demeanor.
Goal and detailoriented with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
Proficient in the use AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office programs.
Possess sound knowledge of interior design/Architecture principles/practices.
A Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
At least 5 years of demonstrated work experience with Interior Design and/or Architectural Firms
