Job profile / Activities:


  • Deliver the Electric Power Retail Electric Power Solutions New Generator Sales and Aftermarket for the dealers in the Latin America region
  • Annual total sales targets for electric power products (Diesel and Natural Gas)
  • Annual total targets for Aftermarket sales, Customer Value Agreements, eCommerce and Connectivity
  • Lead a regional team consisting of territory managers and an aftermarket services representative
  • Develop, lead, and network with dealers for long term growth in REPS new sales and aftermarket services
  • Develop and execute dealer action plans that will contribute to achieving annual goals
  • Lead team to develop dealer capabilities and market coverage with existing and new products
  • Develop and implement marketing plans for specific products or regions aligned with longterm objectives
  • Participate in strategic projects such as Leadership Tables when applicable for the assigned dealers
  • Collaborate with the wider electric power and Caterpillar teams for alignment with dealers
  • Assist dealers with their technical needs by working with engineering and product teams
  • Collaborate with factories and logistics to remove occasional delivery roadblocks
  • Manage the team's expenses within the assigned budget

Basic Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree


Experience:10+ years of specific Electric Power industry experience; Previous customer/dealer facing experience


Language:
English Advanced**
Travel:50-75% of the time


Behavioral skills:
Excellent **influencing skills at all levels, Acts with a sense of urgency, Highly motivated, proactive, and energetic leadership


Desirable Qualifications**- Previous Team Lead/Supervisory experience a plus

  • Customer focus, business acumen, verbal, and written skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with dealers, customers and across Caterpillar
  • An Owner's mindset and is accountable for their team, dealer's business, and issues
  • Experience in sales & marketing
  • Portuguese Advanced
